Computar Introduces the MPW3 Series Ultra-low Distortion Lens

The MPW3 Series is optimized for sensors and applications with the highest demands

March 19, 2020 – Cary, NC - Computar®, the leading Japanese lens manufacturer operated by CBC Group, has released another new Machine Vision lens series.  The MPW3 Series has fixed focal lengths ranging from 5mm to 75mm and a resolution of 8 megapixels at max. 2.74μm. The C-mount lenses are lightweight and have a very compact design. Important factors such as very low distortion, reliable illumination right up to the edge and short working distances have been retained. They are suitable for sensors from 1/2.5” to 2/3” and optimized for the sensor types: IMX250, IMX264, ICX625, RJ32S4, EV2S05M, IMX178
